Upcoming Laughter Yoga Class
My next Laughter Yoga class is scheduled for Sunday, February 20, 2011 from 12 noon to 1 pm at Empowered Yoga in Wilmington. Pre-registration is now open for this class. Sign up here.

Class Description
Join Christa Scalies, RYT, CLYL (Certified Laughter Yoga Leader) and founder of Giggle On® for an interactive specialty class designed to help you open and balance your heart chakra using the Kundalini and Hatha based practice of Laughter Yoga (also called Hasya Yoga). This practice teaches you how to laugh without using jokes or humor and provides a safe space for you to tap into “ahimsa” and your inner child by letting go of judgment, negativity, hostility, fear and stress and replacing those feelings with love, peace, acceptance and joy.
Bring a yoga mat and an open mind. Beginners welcome.
Class content
- Stretching, clapping, chanting, playful interactive group laughter exercises, free flow laughter meditation, Bharamari pranayama (Humming Bee Breath) and silent meditation
